We collect as little as we can, use it only to do what you asked, and never sell it. This page explains the specifics in plain language.
Who we are
Perceptivity Labs (“Perceptivity”, “we”, “us”) builds AI perception products — AEO and Studio — that help brands understand and shape how AI systems perceive them. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it across our website and products.
This policy describes our current practices and will evolve as the products mature; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
Information we collect
- Contact details you submit — name, work email, company — through forms such as the free Reveal, walkthrough requests, and the Machine Readable brief.
- Brand inputs you provide — brand names, website URLs, briefs, and reference material you choose to share so we can run an analysis.
- Product usage — basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the website and products are used, to improve them.
- Communications — messages you send us by email or through the product.
Public and model-derived information
Our core function is to observe how publicly accessible AI engines answer category questions and to map publicly available information about brands. This analysis uses public model outputs and public sources; it is the product working as intended, not collection of your private data.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the AEO and Studio products and the website.
- To run the analyses and reports you request, and to share results with you.
- To respond to enquiries and send the briefs or updates you have asked for.
- To keep our services secure and to meet legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, hosting and email delivery), under appropriate confidentiality terms, or where required by law.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to the address below.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard what we hold.
Changes
We may update this policy as our products and practices change. The current version always lives at this URL with its effective date.
